faxspool changes aspect ration

Hallo,

I noticed that faxspool changes the aspect ratio of the file to be faxed, both
for text and postscript files [I have not checked other types] so that the
height is compressed by about 8%. It happens when I use dfaxhigh as well as
when I use faxg3.
Is there any reason why it does this? And is there a way to change it?

faxspool doesn't :) - but many plain paper fax machines do (on reception).

OK. Sorry. You got me a bit confused, but I *was* confused and measured
the wrong things. The aspect ratio does not get changed by faxspool, nor
during transmission. So it must be the new_fax print.module.
Have you got any idea what goes on there?
