Thanks for your tips Mihai. I suppose it will have to be a UK vgetty
user who will know about a modem which could be right for me.
Meanwhile my Accura does quite a good job apart from the subject
heading of this message. IMHO its cell phones that have killed off
modems more than VoIP.
